The Famous Free Ski School begins @ Lookout Pass on Saturday, Jan. 7. Nearly 500 children age 6-17 have registered for the 10-week program.

The Famous Free Ski School at Lookout Pass is a charitable, non-profit organization that draws students from across the Spokane area, north Idaho and western Montana.

Famous Free Ski School sessions run every Saturday until March 10. Classes for beginners start at 10 a.m. Intermediate lessons begin at 11:30 a.m. Registration closes on Saturday, Jan. 7. Equipment and lift tickets aren’t included. The program concludes with a barbecue and awards ceremony on Saturday, March 10.

Buses make round trips to Lookout Pass and back throughout the I-90 corridor from Liberty Lake, WA to Superior, MT. Fare is $13 for busses making round trips from Liberty Lake to Coeur d’Alene, ID. Busses running through Idaho’s Silver Valley and western Montana are free. The Snow Bus schedule is posted on www.skilookout.com under Mountain Info.
