Superior Hospital & Health Center Food Bank Challenge

For the 3rd consecutive year, the entire staffs of both Mineral Community Hospital and Mineral Regional Health Center are gathering non-perishable food for the residents in need of Mineral County. Between the Alberton Food Pantry and the Mineral County Food Bank, all donations will be divvied up as equal as possible so they can serve their clients’ needs through the holiday season. Alberton Feed and Supply has again loaned 2 large horse troughs that are in the lobbies of each facility to make drop-off convenient. Wells Fargo is a satellite location for donations as well. Internally, the departments are challenging one another to see who can raise the most in poundage through December 29th so when non-staff donate, they can inform Alex Heffley at MCH Registration which department, if any, they would like theirs to be applied to.
Checks are also accepted and can be made to Mineral County Food Bank. Pet food is also received as it stands to reason that if a family has trouble feeding themselves, their pets are suffering as well. Even though pet food isn’t added in for the total poundage, it will indeed be extremely appreciated.
