Understanding the employer’s role in documentation for unemployment claims and legal purposes is key to safeguard your business. Consistency in human resource practices leaves little room for misinterpretation of the facts. Session 1 will provide a proven format for employee manuals and documentation of employee performance, issues and activities that should be maintained in order to insure the collaborative success of the employee and the employer. It will also create a foundation for employers when they are required to respond to unemployment claims or other employee relation issues.
There are many businesses in the area that have a revolving door for staff. This workshop will address how to attract and maintain an invested workforce for your business. A major cost to a business is training—how much time, energy, and money are you going to continue to spend on training new staff? Session 2 will provide strategies to attract the right employees and build the team that you want to represent your business long-term.
