You will learn how to build a website and Face Book page to help you promote your business. LAST DAY – SKI FOR FREE @ Lookout Pass Ski Area I-90 Exit 0, at the Idaho/Montana state line

Ski and Ride for FREE the last day of the season, Saturday, April 7. We’re celebrating a new record season and want to send a BIG THANK YOU to all our guests and valued Season Pass Holders for a great year!
Saturday includes our Annual Slush Cup pond skimming event which is a hoot for participants and spectators alike. Judges are likely to award extra points for costumes and swimwear! Event starts at noon just above the lodge.
We just exceeded 400” of snow for the season. Conditions are very good and the forecast calls for some sunshine on Saturday.
Again, from the entire staff at Lookout Pass, thank you for your support.

The attractions of Mineral County – our vistas and recreational opportunities — will be featured at Southgate Mall TRAVEL EXPO on Saturday, March 17th. The Mineral County Chamber of Commerce and Mineral County non-profit organizations are sponsoring a booth at this event!

Mineral County Chamber/Community member Glenn Koepke is leading this project and is gathering informational material. Thousands of people will be wandering through Southgate Mall on that day and we feel that this a good opportunity to let others know what we have to offer. We’re hoping to get information/representation from all our Mineral County communities.

ON THE IDAHO/MONTANA BORDER—The Famous Free Ski School at Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area embarks upon its 72nd season Saturday, Jan. 7.
Nearly 500 children age 6-17 have registered for the 10-week program in 2012. Lookout Pass is launching its Famous Free Ski School in conjunction with National Learn a Snow Sport Month, an annual ski industry promotion conducted in January by national, regional and state associations.
The Famous Free Ski School at Lookout Pass is a charitable, non-profit organization that draws students from across the Spokane area, north Idaho and western Montana. Since 1940, volunteer instructors have introduced nearly 40,000 children to skiing and snowboarding.
Famous Free Ski School sessions run every Saturday until March 10. Classes for beginners start at 10 a.m. Intermediate lessons begin at 11:30 a.m. Registration closes on Saturday, Jan. 7. Equipment and lift tickets aren’t included. The Lookout Pass Rental Shop is stocked with all the equipment students need. Lift tickets are free for children six and under and $26 for ages 7-17 plus Idaho sales tax. Rope tow tickets are $10 plus tax. The program concludes with a barbecue and awards ceremony on Saturday, March 10.
The Lookout Pass Snow Bus operates every Saturday while the Famous Free Ski School is in session. Buses make round trips to Lookout Pass and back throughout the I-90 corridor from Liberty Lake, WA to Superior, MT. Fare is $13 for busses making round trips from Liberty Lake to Coeur d’Alene, ID. Busses running through Idaho’s Silver Valley and western Montana are free. The Snow Bus schedule is posted on www.skilookout.com under Mountain Info.
