The Mineral County Sheriff's Office is seeking any information from the public that may help identify how a fire started near the junction of Mullan Road West and Pardee Creek Road, just west of the Town of Superior, Montana. The fire was reported on Sunday, July 14th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. in the evening and may have started as early as 4:30 p.m. The fire has now burned over 6100 acres and the estimated cost of fighting this fire is over $7 Million.
