In celebration of World Spay Day, the Humane Society of Western Montana is hosting a large-scale weekend spay/neuter clinic on February 23 and 24 in Alberton and it's for all pets including dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and feral cats. Alberton was chosen for this year's event because of the large number of families needing help in Mineral County where there is no veterinarian or shelter available. During this weekend event the Humane Society will help spay/neuter over 250 pets and help approximately 125 families.
